The Talking Book Service has more than audio 68,000 book and 70 magazine titles to select from. The collection contains fiction and non-fiction topics ranging from astronomy to westerns. Reading levels vary from very easy to adult. Books are available in many languages in addition to English.

Registered users can supply their reading interests and have books automatically selected from those topics.

Magazines: Select magazines from either of the following lists:
Issues on this list can be kept by the user.
Each issue of these titles must be returned in order to receive the next issue.

Descriptive movies: Users can borrow movies which unobtrusively describe the action in both VHS and DVD formats. The user supplies the equipment to view the movie.
VHS catalog: More than 250 movies for viewers of all ages. Contact the Talking Book Service to receive this catalog in large print or audio format.
DVD catalog: More than 75 movies for viewers of all ages; additional titles will be added to the collection. Contact the Talking Book Service to receive this catalog in large print or audio format.
