Training Announcement: Consumer Product Content in LiLI-D through ProQuest

Earlier this year, it was announced that Consumer Union, the publisher of Consumer Reports, entered into an exclusive agreement with a single database provide. Idaho residents can still access full text of Consumer Reports content published from January 1996 – January 2009 through the LiLI Databases. ProQuest continues to publish the abstracts and indexing for Consumer Reports and those should remain current and up to date.

As a result of this change, ProQuest has been actively work to increase the amount of consumer related content available in their suite of resources. They have also developed training specifically on this topic and will be providing a webinar for Idaho library staff in response to our request to highlight the availability of this type of content.
